I am going to have a big post all about girls camp with LOTS and lots of pictures but that will be a little later, maybe next week.  Haha not tonight.  So instead I'll just have a little post about my school clothes since school starts on tuesday :(

My shoes!!!  I got cownoy boots! I love them! And my other shoes are super cute too!

The jewelry I got.  I really like the owl and the silver ring! I normally dont wear too much jewelry but I've gotten a lot of cute stuff lately so I'll have to start wearing it.  Plus that owl will go perfectly with my purple shirt!

Summer?

I thought summer was supposed to be a break?  I guess it is a break, I don't have to get up early but I still have a lot to do.  Today I had sectionals and I had to leave early to go to the dentist then I had to go to the orthodontist.  Now I have to pack for youth conference on friday and saturday and tomorrow I have more colorguard stuff. This summer is going to be crazy and busy but still better than going to school!  OH and I've been making flower head bands and clips from fabric and its so fun! I love it! I'll write about that later and post pics but they are super cute!

SO my birthday was wonderful.  I a lot of great things!!!!!! I got my toms, I absolutely love them!!!! I got yummy cupcakes.  It was a great day! Its officially summer! I'm so excited!!!

6 days....

6 days until my 16 birthday. I don't know how I feel about this.... My 15 year was a good one. It's crazy. I can't believe I'll be 16!!! I'm almost done with my first year of high school. I'm growing up :( I want to stay all little.... But I can't wait!!! :) I have no idea what I want or anything! I'm just happy! :)

A recipe 

I tried this recipe but my were hard :(

Homemade oreos

1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (sifted)
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
3 tablespoons margarine (or Smart Balance)
2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 large egg white

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
In the bowl of your electric mixer (or with a hand mixer), beat the butter and margarine until well blended. Add the sugars and vanilla extract and beat on high speed for about one minute. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Beat in the egg white. Add the flour mixture and beat just until incorporated.


Place the dough on your work surface and, using your hands, form the dough into a log shape that is about 9 inches (23 cm) long. Carefully wrap the dough in aluminum foil, parchment paper or wax paper and fold or twist the ends. Try not to flatten the log. Refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and place the oven rack in the center of the oven. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. 
Using a sharp knife, slice into 1/4 inch thick wafers. Place on the baking sheet spacing about 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart. Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes or until the the cookies puff and the tops of the cookies have crackles (ripples). Remove from oven and let cookies cool on baking sheet for about 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Can be stored in an airtight container, at room temperature, for about 10 days.

Cream Cheese Filling
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 block of cream cheese, room temp (8 oz)
3-4 cups - powdered sugar (depending on desired consistency)
1 - tsp mint extract
A few drops green food coloring

Cream butter and add cream cheese, add food coloring and mix well.
Add powdered sugar slowly until you reach your desired consistency.
Frost backs of cookies and smoosh together.

HHmmm well i really liked the twilight series except the last one.  it sucked. that stupid baby ruined it. I loved the host.  I also loved the last song and my sisters keeper.... I like fictional books. But I hardly ever read even though i secretly love reading haha

PRETTY LITTLE  LIARS!

I absolutely love this show!  Its amazing! Its about four friends and their trials.  After their friend was murdered they get texts and emails from a mysterious person.  This my favorite show ever! i might even read the book! haha! 




Another show I love is LIE TO ME.  I love this show too! Its about these people that can tell if your lying by your facial expression.  Its a great show too!

I went to the temple today!!!I went to the Jordan River Temple!! It was wonderful! I haven't been in a while and it was so great to go back!!! Especially to one I haven't been to before!!! On the way back we almost got into a head on collision.  It was scary.  The car barely missed us.  I feel so grateful that it didn't.  Today was pretty great day even though I was so scared.
